Estelle was certain that at some point the barbed brush would start enveloping her totally, maliciously swallowing her whole before slithering into her nose and eyes where it would devour her from the inside until she was- Her less than joyful daydreaming was interrupted as a new scent caught her attention and despite her sudden desire to curl in upon herself in the usual submissive position she was glad to see another face. Caught as she was she couldn’t lower herself so she made do with tucking her ears back against her skull. Had she fully understood the quip he tossed her way she might have bristled slightly but as it was she only tilted her head curiously as she struggled to take apart the words she didn’t understand and fit them against the frame work of her mother tongue. “Euh sorry I don’t speak…” She spoke in sweet, accented and hesitant tones fully aware she was probably butchering the language. “I am… merde!” She struggled for a moment to find the word but could not bring it to mind. “I am coincé?” the final word was spoken as a question, hoping he would understand.
