Evangeline was mid-pout when her sunlight was blocked out suddenly by the unexpected appearance of a stranger, and Vana rolled her eyes over to stare at him and scowl. Why was she laying in the mud? Why was she laying in the mud?! Was the man scent-blind? Couldn't he tell how much she stank with pheromones? "Because it's comfortable," she snapped, deliberately turning her head away from him. But it bothered her, really bothered her, the way he loomed over her like he was something when he was nothing, so turning her scowl back to him and locking golden eyes to his she very deliberately rose to her feet to tower over him. Embarrassment insisted she clamp her tail down and tried to put a wobble in her lip but she forced herself to stand with regal imperiousness as she glared at him, clamping her jaw to control the trembling of her chin. "What do you want?" |
