Leto let out a small "oomph" as she slammed into the larger boy right on target, her squishy-soft landing pad cushioning her chest from any bruising that may have occurred to her in return if she'd hit somewhere with bone. Her legs achieved grip, and her sharp teeth clamped into skin. SUCCESS. Less success than if she'd made the trespasser squeal but still a success!
Keeping her ears back and her eyes narrowed, the furious snarl wrinkling her muzzle and brow in protective ridges and her fiery hackles raised, she tucked her tail in close to keep it out of his reach. She shifted her weight to her forelegs and chest for balance, keeping it centered so she wouldn't be so easy to push over.
Attempting to tighten her grip with her forelegs, she sought to shift all her weight forward on to him to keep him pinned. As she did, she hopped with her back legs in an attempt to bring her hind legs up between her belly and his, seeking to pummel his midsection with wild kicks with both hind paws - unknowingly aimed near the level of his masculinity. Suddenly, sharp teeth closed over her muzzle, piercing skin - with milk teeth and puppy jaws not quite up to large amounts of piercing damage on the bones of her face the immediate results were just a series of mild puncture wounds on either side of her muzzle, but it was enough to make her screech with hurt fury. How dare the trespasser fight back? He was the one who was being bad and doing the wrong thing, not her! It hurt, it hurt bad and it wasn't fair! ... and then he punched her right in her left eye.
She flinched, her screech cutting off instantly in shock as the pain from the moderate bruising blossomed - it would surely have resulted in a black eye were she a human and would likely swell up regardless of species. But the pain did not make her run away, no - it made her angry! Now clenching her eyes tightly shut she sought to worsen the grip she'd obtained by attempting to thrash her head side to side like she would shake a rabbit-skin toy... so inexperienced she wouldn't realize the motion would also likely result in more damage to her muzzle if he didn't let go.
