With a barely contained spring in his step Angelus trotted away from his father. He had his sights set on a wide patch of bare ground that would be the perfect place for a spar. The ground was relatively flat and blemish-free, and as far as he could tell there were no big rocks or sticks hidden among the weeds. It was a good, bland spot, in his opinion, to establish a performance baseline. After finding a suitable place to stop Angelus spun suddenly in an attempt to face his opponent head on. He grinned at the man before nodding to him; his stance loose and almost lackadaisical. Despite what his appearance may have suggested, the Ultimus was ready. "First move is yours."
