It was in saying nothing at all, in merely looking at her, that Akemi truly felt worse. She would breathe in slowly, shakily, trying to steady her nerves. It was funny how a single wolf could make someone feel this way. Could take everything she thought she knew and flip it upside down. Surely she wore that upon her expression as well. She’d open her single eye again only partially, giving a low whine. “I’ve... Made some mistakes lately...” She wanted to draw closer to him, to feel his touch, but she forced herself to keep her distance for now.

“I keep forgetting that things are not as they once were. That this is not the past, and I don’t need to keep fighting everyone over every little thing... And... That there is more at stake than just merely my body existence alone.” The femme would lower her head, recalling his fight with the purple hued woman from Imperium.
