He wouldn't know voltages style to kicking Anais from their den but the mere thought of it amused him. Voltage was a bundle of energy and a willing candidate for their plot to lure Anais from the den and to the cliff top, and he could easily imagine. He didn't have to wait long, but he passed the time looking out at the cliff top, watching the stars and their soft sprinkle of light along the endless water. Everywhere he looked from this vantage point he could see nothing but the ocean – it still swallowed their precious beach and lapped against the base of the cliff top, where their beach entryway lay hidden. Even thoughts of the flooding couldn't keep him from wondering what was happening back on the Prairie. He could imagine Voltage making quick work of their scheme and Anais was likely out of the den by now, no doubt bewildered. Would she have found the stone yet? Followed his little trail through the grasslands and to his side? He stuck his nose in the air and smiled, still not the slightest stir of wind. It would be like this that Anais found him, walking quietly into view. He turned fully at her approach, watching the golds of her coat shine a brighter, whiter, color beneath the soft star light. He couldn't help the radiant smile that turned his rich toned lips upwards, or the sparkle in silvered eyes. There was mischief dancing in their somewhere, beneath the love and wonder he held for her. A mischief brought on by the days events, what was to come – and of course, for Voltage's part playing as a blessing for the two couples union. Hearing the question in his love's voice, and the curiosity in her golden orbs his smile grew softer, and he nudge the delicate sunflower from behind his giant's foot, and touched it to her own soft paw. “I thought you where over me sneaking these in behind your back, but I can't give up the mystery and intrigue, so I brought you to me. With a little help” he told her, a little misleading from the days true intention – but he wasn't ready to say it yet. He was waiting. Waiting for the soft golden rays to start their spread across the open sky, for the sun that even now was nearing its moment to break across the sky and bring brilliance to the ocean behind him. As he spoke, and delayed, he caught the first sign of sunlight and he picked up what he had hidden from her sight and moved a couple steps forward, so there was very little space between them. “Anais. I can't say I do everything in the right order, but I can say I can pick my timing” he grinned at her, keeping the situation from becoming too serious. “There is something I want for us, for my family to see, for our children to attend. Something to do alongside Voltage and his Gaia – because it seems I can't help but do everything with that brother of mine” his chuckle teased her “I hope you realize where a package deal” he tucked the joke in with his proposal. “Anais. Will you marry me? Will you stand beside me before the end of spring, and commit our lives together with words as we have already done with our hearts and our actions? It might not be the quiet affair I can imagine you seeking, but you will surrounded by wolves that love us, that will share our lives and our joy from that moment and forever” he said, as the sunrise exploded behind them, washing the world in a brilliance of light and color.
