Bass missed her white coat hidden among the tall grasses, his eyes were on his sister at the moment. Offering her a grin he leaned over and nuzzled her cheek, just as slight movement caught his eye. He did not miss Harmony's wink as he turned his head around to face his attacker, defenses quickly falling into place. His ears pinned against his head as his chin lowered towards his chest, tail and head both moving to align with his spine. Legs were set an equal distance apart, toes spread as his claws bit into the loose ground. Hackles rose as his shoulders rolled forward, yellow eyes narrowing as he met her similar coloured gaze. Vali. Bass couldn't help but smirk, even though it was quickly replaced with a snarl. He stood calmly as he watched her approach, not aiming to move and allowing her to come at him head on. Bass jutted his own shoulders forward, but at the last moment he attempted to rear his top half upwards, aiming for his legs to be about 5 inches off the ground. Her shoulder attack missed, bite just narrowly missing his raised upper half, her paw slamming uselessly back onto the earth. Bass chuckled, how easy it was to avoid all attacks with one simple move, a move that he used over and over again. His weight shifted back towards his hind legs, aiming to keep himself completely balanced. The pale man did not wait long to make a move of his own, his head tilting towards his left as his jaws parted. Bass aimed to lower himself on top of Vali, his front legs reaching out for her shoulders. He aimed to wrap his right font leg across her left shoulder, his left front leg aimed to wrap across her right shoulder. Bass hoped to keep her in a bear hug, as well as apply pressure as he tried to lower himself further to the ground. At the same time he aimed to sink his jaws into the back of her neck, about two inches from the top of her skull. His top jaw was aimed for the right side of her upper neck, his bottom jaw for the left side. He aimed to sink his teeth in and obtain a grip on her head, hoping that he could help use this grip to push her into the dirt. ----------------- BASS vs VALI for DOMINANCE Round 1 of 2 Default time : 3 days (unless Kea's power gets knocked out.)
