Other Abaven members would slowly begin to show. Those on “Team Lark” were finally making an appearance, though Félicien didn’t move to immediately challenge any of them. He was considering his options, however, when Arkay would trot up to him. The boy seemed eager to begin his first real fight, and Féli couldn’t help but allow a smile to come over his face. Sure this moment in time was meant to be serious, but seeing how excited the other was he couldn’t help but let some of that tension go.
“Very well, Arkay.” Félicien would rumble. He’d start to set up his defenses by aligning his head with his spine, his tail being tucked underneath his body. Ears would fold back against his skull, eyes would narrow, and shoulders would be rolled for. Félicien would scrunch his neck, spread his legs, and distribute his weight across his four limbs. Claws would bite into the soul, hackles raised, and knees bent in readiness.
“I’ll give you the first move. Now come at me!”
