ILLUME SKYEDarkness creapt around her, pulling the very breath from her lungs. Deep, pulling her down, away from the light. The beginning of her eternity. Her jaws opened to scream, to call for a name she couldn't remember, but the heavy darkness just replaced the air she lost, flooding through her lungs and pulling her down...down... She couldn't breathe, no matter how she tried. Suddenly, she jolted, sitting straight up with wide blue eyes as she gasped and panted for breath. A broken sob slipped through shuddering lips, brows furrowing tightly. Everything hurt, and yet the pain was almost nothing but a memory. It thrumbed through her now, echoing the pain she felt when she was first found.

The sounds of footsteps broke her spell, and she glanced over her shoulder from her spot beneath a tree before quickly turning back to hide her face in her paws. Whoever it was, she couldn't let them see her like this. If there was one thing Illie hadn't forgotten, it was her pride. Ankles and paws quickly pushed away the tears, but she couldn't calm the tremors of silent sobs wracking her body. Her dreams have been getting worse, more vivid and she was almost terrified to sleep. Whatever had happened to her, her mind did not want to forget. Unlike everything else. She still couldn't remember much past her name, besides wide expanses of blue and the feeling of cold darkness suffocating her.
