The lonely male trotted through the lands, making his way around the interesting trees. Couldn't say he'd seen anything like this before. And he'd never been a place that stayed so cold so long into the spring. Not that it mattered to him much; he wasn't put off by the colder conditions. It was just nice to be somewhere far away from everything familiar. Maybe this would be a place to start over new, although he wasn't sure if he'd be able to make friends, or meet anyone, or do anything at all. He sighed, half hoping he'd run into someone, half hoping he could live on his own forever.

Just as he rounded a particularly thick clump of trees, he heard clattering in the branches and paused to look up, tilting his head. He startled slightly as he spotted a wolf high in one of the trees. What was someone doing way up there? He supposed the trees here were strange and quite climbable, but still. Dominik considered running away - he didn't know how to interact with someone hanging out in a tree like a feline. He took several steps backward, slowly, hoping to disappear. But as he eyed the wolf in the tree, something looked off. The look in that man's eyes as he gazed to the ground below, and the way he hovered near the very end of a high branch. It looked kind of dangerous.

His eyes shifted side to side as he considered what to do. Golden eyes looked up again. Something compelled him to call out at that moment. "Hey!" he shouted, taking a step toward the base of the tree the wolf had climbed, "What are you doing up there? You shouldn't be so close to the edge of that branch, what if it snaps?" All he could do was stare upward, wondering if this wolf would answer and come down from the branch safely.
