Go ahead, make my day [M]

His black-tipped plume of a tail waved back and forth, amused as he watched the giant turn toward him. Her voice came out with a challenge, shouting back at him across the lazy but swollen river. His single, sky blue eye narrowed in defiance, and his muzzle wrinkled up at the way she demanded he come over and say it to her face. Ugh, as if he wanted to get close to her. A growl rumbled in his chest as she suggested he was afraid of her. Who did she think she was? Fucking women, always thinking they're such hot shots, he thought as his claws dug into the muddy riverbank. There was no way he was walking away from this with her thinking he was just a boy with no backbone. Not a chance. "I don't know if I want to see your face up close!" he shouted, teeth flashing, "But you can forget it if you think I'm just gonna leave quietly!"
His gaze fixed on her, he leapt into the river, unworried about the consequences. His legs cut through the water powerfully, though the current still managed to carry him downstream somewhat. It wasn't enough to take him under, and he had to be glad that at least he wasn't going to drown in front of her without getting the chance to insult her up close and personal. At last his forepaws met the opposite shore, and he pulled himself onto the muddy but solid ground. He shook the water from his now drenched coat, leaving his fur spiked in some areas, and in others flattened against his muscular frame.
Ehrgeiz marched toward the woman, his tail flicking into the air high above his back. Obsidian paws carried him until he was directly in front of her, his one-eyed glare looking her up and down before resting on those blood-red eyes. Eyes just like his filthy mother's. "Well, here I am," he rumbled, "What are you gonna do, you big, dumb amazon?" A malicious grin spread as ebony lips peeled back to reveal his fangs. Disgusted as he was, he felt a rush, like he was excited for what was to come. Was she going to strike him down? Beat him and make him shut his face? Oh he'd love to see her try, and the thought gave him a thrill.
