“Oof” he said as she poked his belly accusingly. He took it in stride, grinning easily back at her and rubbing the spot she had jabbed. “Hey, easy on the fat, I just had children you know!” he teased, holding back a laugh. Like he could take credit for the hard work and suffering it had taken Anais to carry and give birth. “Besides, don't judge your elders. Where wiser then you” he eyes danced with his laughter as he took a seat beside her, eyes moving to look over the swollen ocean before them. She passed one of the fish over to him and he gratefully accepted it. In truth, he really was starving! He was so busy these days he couldn't always remember if he had actually eaten, it got drowned among his other responsibilities. He dug into the fish, enjoying the salty flesh and casting aside his bones, making quick work of the small meal. Locha would scootch closer before she spoke, as even as she began to talk, he would start resting his own weight on her. Slowly increasing how much he was leaning against her as he attempted to gently knock her over. “But its so much more fun if you catch it for me” he said, before a touch of responsibility creeped into his tone. “I don't doubt that, through I imagine you can see the scope of it better then we can. It will take a bit of effort, but we can work together” he mused softly. |
