There's a time to wait, and a time to take action

Solaris was always the last to enjoy any kind of change and their temporary loss of the beach was no exception. He missed the cliff he typically watched the sunrise on, he missed their usual dens. He basically missed his usual routine. He was up bright and early as always, watching the sun come up over the treeline in the distance. It certainly was not as good of a view as watching the sunrise over the ocean, but it was better than nothing he supposed. The sun finally reached its place in the sky and just as he was rising to his paws to go figure out how he would spend his day, he heard his older brother's summoning howl. His ears perked up curiously, his brows pulling together. It sounded like he was toward the beach... He quickly put the pieces together and a smile came to his muzzle. Finally! He quickly made his way toward Glacier's call and sure enough he saw Glacier standing there along with his children and Gale. He smiled as he settled on his haunches near the rest of the group, glancing around at the beach. There was clearly work to be done to get it back to its former state, but he was glad that they could at least begin the process. |
