Locha noticed that the man straightened up a little when she spoke of the flooding back home. He looked at her, and whilst looked a little worried, said "Tha's defini'ely enough ta keep anyone busy. Was anyone hur'?". Locha looked down for a moment. Luckily all of her family had escaped the flooding in time, and no-one was hurt, but it had been close. She still carried tension from that night on her shoulders.
"Ah, luckily no. Much of my family lives in caves near the beach, and when the sea rose they all flooded. " she said, her voice remaining steady, much to her relief. Looking up she smiled, although she did not quite meet the other's eyes. Standing up, catching herself from slipping once again, the woman smiled. "For now, though, I'm trying find a path down to the water. I imagine all this mud doesnt't look very flattering." she chuckled.
