She was so concerned with keeping an eye on her daughters that Anais almost did not notice Gale suddenly come barreling her way. Her ears perked atop her head as the taunting voice of the Aertus called out to her, using a nickname that was seldom used except by the grey wolf giving chase. Uh oh! Her heart leaped, excited panic stealing through her. When was the last time she had actually gotten excited about a game? Even as she turned, grinning herself, to run, Anais was very glad she had ended up here among these wolves.
Her initial inattention cost her though. She ran, trying her best to put distance between herself and the pursuing Elementas woman, but the speedy wind wolf was too fast. Anais felt only a soft, gentle brush against her shoulder, caught the smug smile on the lavender-marked face, and realized instantly she had been tagged. "Aw!" she voiced, disappointed, but still she could not stop smiling. Well, it had been fun while it lasted. Officially out, Anais searched again for her daughters, shouting out to the both of them, "Run, run! You can do this!" Hopefully they fared better.
