Lark hadn't spend a lot of time with his siblings as of late. Finch was still recovering, but steadily getting better; and the last time he'd talked to Starling he'd basically been yelling at him, and telling him he was selfish. He loved his brother dearly, and being upset with his siblings was something he wasn't used to. He didn't quite know how to talk to him again - and even if he did find him, he had no idea if they'd even talk about what happened or not.

He hadn't meant to run into Starling. Not really. Maybe subconsciously, as he'd caught whiff of his scent when he'd wandered from home territory toward the forest of young redwood trees. The air was quite refreshing here, and he took in a deep breath as he navigated between the trees. It was a fine summer day, and his heart felt light and free - until he saw Starling. Lark wasn't used to feeling anxious, but he felt his stomach clench as he realized his brother was close, and warily he drew closer and offered a slow nod. "Buon pomeriggio," he'd greet him after clearing his throat and lifting his gaze to meet Starling's.
