"You can see pretty far," he confirmed. There wasn't much to see at the moment, but during the fall when the leaves were changing it was a spectacular sight. Valentine hoisted himself up and then slid over the top of the windshield. He paused once his forepaws were on the hood to look down at Dragon. In the moment it had made sense to offer to lift the boy up, but now that he thought about it he wasn't quite sure how to go about doing it. Did he scruff him and hoist the boy up? Jump down, lift him up on his back and let him climb the rest of the way?

Hmurr. Scruffing sounded easier. Valentine scooted to the edge of the hood and then sunk into a low crouch so that his forepaws rested on top of the tire and his head and chest hung over the side. "Stand right here and put your paws up on this..." he motioned towards the tire, "...round thing and I'll see if I can lift you up."
