Come take a walk on the wild side

She was new to this land, stumbling upon it by accident. So far it didn't seem too bad. The strong scent of wolves had lured her in closer, calling her to stay. Her mouth salivated at the thought. It was clear that there was several prominent packs that dominated the area, along with loners that occupied unclaimed territory. So much life to prey on. For now she would control herself, where would be the fun in getting kicked out on your first day. Beside that she had hoped that her brother would find her. He was exceptional at being able to find her, as he did when they were pups, lost and alone with no parents and dead siblings. She could remember that day as though it was yesterday. Her siblings pleading cries, her brothers twisted, devilish look as he tore into them, inviting her to join. That was when she first tasted it. Oh how sweet it was, the warm liquid dripping down her throat, watching the life fade from her siblings eyes. It was then that she knew what she would become. At least that was before she was separated from her brother and taken in. But things went back to normal after they killed the pack.
She stood as a massive shadow beneath one of the many willows that covered the land in this are, standing at 36 inches tall. She towered over the average female. All 115 pounds of her was covered in light gray that had several all shades making up her pelt. Her muzzle dipped in charcoal, with a black stripe going from the middle of her muzzle up to between her ears, the left one being dipped in charcoal. Bright hot pink eyes stood out boldly, accented by five dots beneath each eyes. Her front left toes dipped in the same charcoal as her muzzle, followed by her left hind leg being a lighter gray from her toes all the way up to her hip. A nearly white color covered her neck, chest and belly going all the way to the underside of her tail. She was 2 and she was in her prime.
She continued her exploration, jumping over roots when needed, weaving around trunks and knotted branches. Muscles rippled beneath her thick pelt, each movement graceful despite her size. Hip sways, shoulders roll, tail hung idly between her heels. A soft breeze ruffling her coat, spreading her scent. Speaking of scents. It was winter. She was in heat for the first time. Her scent called the any brute in the area, her body ached with need. She hated this time of year already. A growl rumbled in her chest with displeasure. She had better not run into any brutes on her trek. She'd hate to have to kill someone on her first day in her new home. She paused for a moment. No she wouldn't, she would love. Just as she always did.
Nostrils flared as a familiar scent her. Rodent. Gaze dropped, scanning the roots for her new found prey. Eyes landed on the small rabbit. Young. Salmon tongue swiped across her muzzle hungrily. Dropping to her belly, she slowly stalked the unknowing animal before she pounced. It scrambled but was to late. Jaws snapped its neck in a powerful bite. She smiled at the satisfying crack on its spine. Tearing into the dead animal she devoured it, filling her belly to contentment. Ears swiveled on her head, listening for anyones approach, should someone dare to intrude on her meal.
