As they began their walk, the girl found it easy to keep up with her cousin. Most adults took huge, galloping strides, making it hard for her to catch up. She was always scared she would trip over her own clumsy paws or slip in a patch of mud if she went any faster than normal. In saying that, a slow lumber was her preferred pace, and so she remained relaxed on their stroll. For most of the time she kept her gaze on her paws or on the surrounding scenery. Sometimes she looked up at the male with wide, curious eyes, though tried to do so when he wasn't looking down at her simultaneously. It was too awkward looking at someone as they looked at her. It was like they were expecting her to say something, and everyone knew that wasn't likely for her.

He asked a rather simple question, though she couldn't find an answer to it, not that she didn't want to reply. Everyone asked her what she liked to do, and the honest response was that she didn't know, she didn't know what she liked to do. She didn't have that many interests, nor was she was particularly social. She liked to be by herself, far away from everyone else, but she wasn't going to say that. She didn't want to offend him. "I-I d-dun-no," she softly with a stammer. "I-I l-like p-playing-g." It was sort of true; it just depended on the game.
