She nodded when at last he spoke. He seemed to have been thinking hard, and she smiled lightly. She wanted the best for them, and it pained her that they were struggling so much. Still, they were growing up and eventually they had to learn how to do things on their own. But then again, they'd been doing that even before Arian died. They were taking care of her at such a young age when they should have been playing and learning and having fun. But their parents had put that burden on them too soon.
"That's good. I'm proud of you for coming so far, Rivaxorous." She leaned over and touched his shoulder for comfort, a smile touching her lips. "Remember, if you ever need me, feel free to call anytime. I'll always come. And who knows, maybe next time we talk I'll have some good news!"
