This time she didn't stop the emotions that crossed her face. He shook his head slightly back and forth, letting out a bit of a laugh. Katja was quite the character, there was no doubt in that. He nodded his head when she said her parting words, waiting to see if he had anything left to say. "Thank you for everything Katja. And, try not to be such a stranger, mm?" he said softly, flashing her a toothy grin. Now it was his turn to sit and wait for her, giving her space to leave. He would wait for her to take her leave before he would back away from his borders. Bass didn't doubt that Katja was a slippery creature, but he knew she wouldn't try anything right now.
