Everything seemed to constantly be damp in this dreary season. Even though it wasn't raining today, the ground was still holding the moisture. Leaves dripped with left over rain, making Bass shiver. It made everything seem colder, and he felt like he hadn't been dry in weeks. Sighing, he made his way to the borders to do his daily patrol. That is when he noticed Vali sitting beside the river. He cut away from his original path and made a beeline for her, only pausing when the scent of her heat rose up to greet him. He gritted his teeth, ears pinning to his skull as it brought out feelings that he had to force down. Truth be told he was pretty pent up, and the scent of all the females in heat around him was starting to get to his head. Bass took a moment to collect himself before he closed the rest of the gap between them. Flopping down beside her on the wet earth, he rested his paws over the lip of the bank, dangling them near the rapid water. His yellow eyes turned to look at the female that looked so much like him. He offered her a small smile, before glancing down at the river at his paws. He didn't say anything, just gave her his silent company.
