Her orange eyes squinted at the sunshine, hiding in the darkness of her den and cursing quietly. She had no idea why she was still awake, she had been up all night studying the pattern of the stars and mapping out all the constellations above her. When she returned to her den at dawn, she had tried to fall asleep, but to no avail. Grunting, she rose to her paws, stepping out into the harsh sunlight. If she was awake, she might as well make the best of today. Shaking her purple and black coat, her white marked tail curled behind her. Looking out across the black shores, she saw her older sister sprawled out, the scent of fresh fish reaching her nose. Caeli licked at her chops, taking slow steps towards the blue dye marked woman. She eyed one of the fish, having acquired a taste of them from Locha's skill in catching the slippery things. She was useless in that area herself, you had to be far quicker than she was to grab them. Plus then they flopped everywhere, and were hard to keep in your jaws. No, she would stick to land prey, at least hunting wise.

Flopping down beside the girl, she offered her a smile as she eyed the pile of fish. "Fattening up for winter?" she teased, her smile growing on her black lips. She could feel the threat of the season in the air already, cooling the temperatures down from their lovely summer. She was quite sad though, this autumn had been very damp and cloudy so far. It blocked her view of the stars at night, leaving her nothing else to do but wander aimlessly at the dead of night. Usually only Voltage and Seraphiel were awake at that hour, but she had been alone most nights. It was nice to be beside Locha now, even though the feeling of the sun on her purple back was slightly uncomfortable. She used to be able to be awake all day and night, napping here and there, but lately she had been hiding from the day more and more. Maybe she was getting old.
