Come take a walk on the wild side

He stayed still as she said she was looking for someone to keep her warm. Ha, was that a taunt or just plain sarcasm. His head rose up to it's full height as his pointy and sharp cut ears perked up as she said her name, "Catelaya".
"What a beautiful name for a beautiful dame." he cooed once more before turning one of his ears sideways as he could sense his brother coming. Only a few words escaped from the brute's maw; he asked if this was a job.
"No no brother, just a little soiree. It's nice of you to join us." he said
His amethyst gaze then settled on a silvery brute that had entered the scene. His body language seemed quite hostile as he used his frame to block Catelaya from the two brothers. By the smell of the brute who she had called Demyan he seemed to be her brother. It was then Demyan who spoke up and told Bax and his "minion" of a brother to leave, he also threatened to cut off his balls and use it as a chew toy.
A small devilish smirk appeared on Baxter's maw.
"Au contraire my friend; my most precious organ is my brain. But of course you'd then threaten to split my skull and solve that problem eh?" he said while starting to circle around Demyan and Catelaya before stopping to stand beside his brother again.
"the way you two carry yourself...you like to travel on the dark side don't you? Do you find killing as a hobby? Death? Guts and gore? We like that stuff too...perhaps an alliance can be made. Why don't you join us?"
Bax knew what he was doing, he saw the pros and cons of the conversation and the things he could gain from them. Not noting how tall or massive Demyan was, Bax could care less! Intimidation, hah! With a flick of his russet tail colored with tans and whites he gave an eerie smile before tilting his head slightly to the right.
Surely they should think this through. They should think of how they can benefit from tagging along with Bax and Kovu. The four of them would wreck havoc across the lands! His amethyst eyes drifted from Catelaya once more to Demyan; both well built, strong. Bax wondered how good their stamina was. As they all stood there the brute was studying the two wolves before him. Bax knew he was smart he always knew he was. So he used it to his advantage. It didn't just take a pair of claws to be evil, having brains could devise hellish plans. And boy could he think of them!
As for now he let his white toes sink into the snow with his sharp ears perked up. He would wait...and he didn't care how long...
