Silent paws graced the earth with each movement, carrying forth a being of white. Her body moved or rather seemed to float as she roamed around the white trees. Such a late hour, the moonlight casting a silver glow and everything it touched. One would think she should be resting after the traveling she had done with her brother. They had finally made it back to the lands they were born on. It would be her first return, unlike her brother Laoch, this was his third time and perhaps his last time. As they both would be making a living here from now on, since they no longer had their parents alive and just each other. She knew family lived somewhere here, a lot of family.
The white wolf paused, her ice blue eyes gleamed in the moonlight, golden flecks sparkling. Her pale silvery grey ears twitched at the suddenly, and loud, movement of another being. For a moment she was worried. She was alone, had left Laoch's side while he rested because she could not. How could she with so many thoughts swirling in her mind? Mostly one thought. Her had helped ease her mother into death. The right herbs used to take Imena into an eternal slumber to join her mate Cael. She though had asked her mother if she wished for it. And so she did that one last task for her mother, one last task as her mother's student. It was a burden she carried alone, her brother unaware of the deed she had done. The white girl shook her head, snapping out of her thoughts.
With a hesitant stepped she continued on, her healer mind taking in everything. Those white trees looked like something she had seen before. Could their barks be used safely for healing purposes? Approaching a tree she reached up to place her front paws on the trunk. Nose carefully sniffed the bark before lips pulled back to allow her teeth the tear a piece off. The sound of bark ripping off seemed oddly loud in the landscape. She paused for a moment, unease prickling up her spine before she finished tearing a piece off and examining it on the ground. So engrossed in her findings she forgot about the sound out another roaming around.
