Vereux was a bit surprised, and it was like a spark moving through his body with her affection. Though his muscles tensed, wanting to turn away from her. Or at least distance himself. He didn't know Irune anymore, not like he used to, and she didn't know him. She didn't know what he'd been through, and he knew that he didn't know what she had been through but he wasn't looking for a pity party. Having his own problems as it was, he didn't want to end up hurting he unnecessarily over something that makes him feel uncomfortable. His tail flicked a little as she asked how he'd been. There wasn't much else they could ask was there?
“At the moment I'm okay, just settling into Ivalice with my new family.” he said. Making it apparent that he did have the scent of a woman over him. It wasn't Athena's either. “What have you been up to Irune, what are you doing back in Borealis?” Vereux questioned for a moment. He could always test his grounds, see where he felt about all this and how she wold react to the situation herself as well. Vereux always sucked at sorting out his own feelings. |
