Leo's paws carried him across the rocky landscape of the volcano uncertainly. He wasn't sure why he had come out here if he was honest with himself. Searching for Svetlana was a lost cause, he knew that. His time would be much better spent with his children and his pack. But... He couldn't forgive himself if he didn't search every inch of his continent that he could. There were very few places that he hadn't searched at this point, but this area of the east was one of them. Maybe one day he would get around to searching the north so he could finally say he exhausted all of his options. Maybe then he could accept that she was really gone. He sniffed the air around him curiously, partially searching for Svetlana, but also just curious to what other wolves might be around. It didn't seem like the most friendly place to live, but he quickly caught the scents of several wolves. His brows lifted with surprise and he continued on his path, his sapphire gaze on the lookout for any of them. He certainly didn't want to tread on anyone's turf. Besides, perhaps they could tell him if his wife had come this way. |
