It pleased her that he should think her so quick to keep up with him even in the worsening weather. While she didn't quite share his surety, still worried tha she might lose him somewhere along the way if things continued to worsen, it was nice having his confidence there to back her up despite what she thought. Comforting, even. And he did have a point. A howl was easy enough to do to keep them together if they became separated, and would mean they would find each other quickly in case they needed to. A part of her hoped it wouldn't come to that - the north was known for its challenging, uncaring weather - but she was finding herself with less and less to counter him with.
"Okay," she answered simply, smiling to reassure him as much as herself that she was fine with this new plan. Her small paws hurried to follow after him as he already moved along, seeming pretty confident in his direction though as far as she was aware he had never been to the Glaciem's border. Perhaps, she suspected, from much time wandering the north he had learned of its location and logged it away as the place where his friend lived, if nothing else. His lick was answered with a rather embarrassed smile, but she did as he commanded and hurried her pace to keep up with him, not wanting them to get separated and wishing to make it back to Glaciem territory before poor weather grew worse.
