Lost

Once again she had felt lost. Max had gone missing and she was all alone once again. He felt confused, had she done something to anger him? Was he okay? She wasn't sure, but she was alone and rounding the date she was born. She would be turning one and again would be parent less. She sighed as she moved forward feeling somewhat in a funk. She was slightly depressed to be back to square one, but she had to figure out what she was going to do. With winter around the corner she did not want to be alone so she assumed it would either be to find someone, or to find what Max called a pack.
She moved forward at a quick pace trying her best to cover as much ground as she could. She soon came to a stop her form standing still as she observed a wolf in the distance. Her ears were pricked forward as she watched him move around, sniffing the ground. Cocking her head she tried to figure out what he was doing. His behavior seemed rather odd to her and she decided to check it out. He may need help or something and who knew the last time she came across a complete stranger he took her in under his wing. Maybe she could have the same luck, but maybe her being so naive would cause her to get into a bad situation. She wouldn't know unless she took a chance.
Moving forward she moved closer to the male, who was now sitting at the base of a tree. She moved close enough that she could speak without yelling, but far enough away to give him space.
"Hello," she called gently her voice sweet and soft.
