New Possibilities (Joining)

She appeared to be alone, though the girl craned her neck as if she was searching for someone. Did she have parents? A guardian? Siblings? A companion or friend? Either way, there was no other soul in sight. Fright was scribbled all over the poor girl's features. Oh dear, had she spoken too sternly? Too out-of-the-blue? Well, she shouldn't have crossed the borders, whether she knew what they were and how to identify a different scent or not. Anyone could have harmed her, not Myriad's other members of course, but any rogue who happened to spy the lone child with a keen look in their eyes.
Before she could open her mouth to answer the girl's clueless questions, the alpha stepped in and answered them for her. Well, she could have done so herself though the rest would be a mystery. As much as she was guilty to admit it, she had wanted him to discover her and the pup sooner or later. It wasnt as simple as asking where the stranger was from, what they could bring to the pack, and what rank they desired. This was a child, who appeared to have lost their father. What would she have done on her own in that situation? "Have you come here to join Myriad? she asked softly, glancing to Rivaxorus. They needed to know if she had just randomly bounced onto the borders or was actually seeking a pack. "We can give you a home here."
