Birna stalked through the battlefield, ears alert but her head down. She had decided that she would remain a loner for the foreseeable future though she would keep the possibility of joining another pack open. However, she wasn’t sure anything could quite compare to Imperium. And how many packs had she been a part of? Three? Ludicael, Fiori, Imperium…? It was time to take a break. She needed to get used to being on her own again and part of that meant releasing her frustrations through battle. It felt like it had been so long since she sparred. It had been at least a full season, maybe two. As she paused beneath an oak tree she heard a man calling for a challenger and her ears flicked forward. Excellent timing. Swiftly she answered the call, maneuvering through the grasses to an open, fairly flat space where a large man stood in wait. She dipped her head in greeting. “I accept your challenge. You may take the first move if you so desire.” |
