Báine sniffed at a fragrant plant, her brows pulled together with thought. She had hoped that she might be able to find some herbs to bring to Zuriel as a gift to help with her herb gathering and be a little thank you for checking on her after the last meeting. She just couldn't tell one herb from another! She thought it was something important of some kind, but it was so hard to tell. She didn't know how her older sister did it. She always had the walls of her alcove lined with so many herbs of all shapes and sizes and she couldn't tell what hardly any of them were. Her tail flicked behind her uncertainly as she studied it. It was so little and wilted from the cold she wondered if it would even be worth trying to harvest from... A declaration of sorts startled her, making her jump with surprise and quickly turn to see one of her younger brothers standing there as tall as his small body would allow. She blinked with surprise at the black and white pup. How did he get all the way out here? Well, she certainly didn't want to be the one to ruin his fun. "Oh no! I've been caught!" she exclaimed playfully, falling back on her haunches and lifting her forepaws like she was going to guard her face with them.
