Baine peeked around her paws to see Laisren's reaction, her own smile getting bigger when she saw the grin on his face. At least she could say she made her little brother smile today even if her herb hunting was a failure. She let her forepaws settle back onto the ground when he came running toward her. She jumped a little with worry and surprise when he suddenly tripped over his own paws and went tumbling. The last thing she wanted to do was explain to their parents how her little brother got hurt on her watch! But luckily her legs stopped him and she looked down at him worriedly for a moment before he hopped up like nothing had happened and pressed into her. She sighed with relief and grinned down at him, dipping her muzzle to nuzzle the top of his head. She hadn't gotten to spend much time with her little siblings yet, but it was easy to tell she was going to love them if they were all this cute. She looked down at him when he looked up and asked what she was doing, telling him, "Well, I was just hunting for some herbs to take to Zuriel, but I haven't had much luck. Do you want to help? Maybe two sets of eyes and two noses will find them better than just one!" Speech Thought Others |
