reppin' for that low life

Things had been.. strange, as of late. Not only had his mother reappeared, only to leave again, but his brother had seemingly disappeared as well. It was frustrating, to say the very least. Once, his family had felt immovable to him - as strong and steady as a mountain, always there despite all that happened. But it seemed that things had changed with time, and though he found himself wishing desperately that Abaven could return to the way it had once been, he knew it could never be that easy.
A sigh left his lips as the colossal man moved through the thicket, with little regard of the vegetation he stumbled through. Despite winter's certain arrival, this place was still littered with vines and thick grasses - they were simply dying now, though no less irritating as he felt his back left paw snag on a particularly stubborn vine. With a slight growl, he'd rip it free from the plant's grasp, pushing onward with a strange fervor, though he had no real goal in mind.
