Athena hadn't expected to make this trip again so soon, but she knew that if she didn't know Vereux would notice and she didn't want him to think she was avoiding him. They had made up and she just had to get over herself and her own strange emotions. She followed along behind Leo and stuck close to Amalia. Ever since the night she came back from seeing her brother she had felt particularly clingy to her wife and she tried her best not to be annoying. She glanced behind her every once in a while to make sure none of her children were lagging behind. They arrived soon enough, the trip not seeming quite as long when she had someone to walk with. When they arrived she looked around and realized her brother hadn't arrived yet. However, her two-toned eyes went to the woman that seemed to have called the meeting, the one who's scent was heavy on Vereux's fur when she saw him. She took a deep breath to steady herself and settled on her haunches next to Amalia, glancing down at her wife with a little smile. Ama kept her centered so well just with her presence. "I'm not sure how to introduce myself..." she whispered softly to Ama with an awkward chuckle. "'Hi, I'm Athena, your mate's sister' I guess would be the normal answer, huh?" |
