Kharnage was more than a little angry with how things had been going. Between disliking his new pack mates, hating the new guy who seemed to be getting all buddy-buddy with their mom, and then him having the gall to request that he be alpha alongside Avalon, and then the public scolding their mother had given them all at the meeting... well who wouldn't be angry? Then there was Lykos being all bossy at the meeting that he'd just been handed the heir rank to. He hadn't even come along with them originally so why did Avalon even need an heir for? It wasn't that he wanted the position, far from it really as he knew he'd suck at it, but why him? Why did anyone have to have it right now? Nothing was going to happen to their mother so it wasn't necessary. Especially since the pack had just been created.

So like most teens who wanted to get away from their parents, or in his case parent and sibling, he left. He wasn't "running away" but it was kind of funny to think about it really. Would they even notice he was gone? They probably would but he didn't care at the moment. What was she gonna do, ground him? He knew the festival was coming up, but at the moment he didn't care about that either. He was focused on him and what he wanted to do.

He wasn't sure what brought him to the battlefield. Curiosity mostly, and then the howl that rang out for a sparring partner. He didn't know how to fight, he'd never been mentored in it at all, but he was curious all the same. He didn't want to be mentored by anyone in that pack right now anyways. So far, from what he could tell, they all sucked. So why not learn something from a new wolf instead?

So he padded towards where he'd heard the howl, the light drizzle soaking into his thick pelt, and he was surprised to find that his would be opponent was bright red and as large as Lykos was. With him he noticed a cat and an older white wolf. Strange company to bring to a spar, but it didn't matter. He just hoped this red wolf didn't expect him to fight all three of them. That wouldn't be fair. Granted it wasn't going to be fair anyways.

"So, uh, I'm Kharnage." He paused, unsure of how this was supposed to work. "And I've never sparred before."
