Her friend was sulking. He may not have said a word to her, nor to anyone else, but she could tell. He was sulking. And so, the white-coated woman danced out of pack territory and towards the Firefly Lake, though it was not very firefly-y as of late, since it was winter. Even so, the lake was not frozen, and though the waters were chilly, today was quite a warm day.
Besides, she had a plan. She tipped her head back and called for Bass, similar to the manner he called for his family. She was actually quite curious about that, but it was undoubtedly just a day out, family-time. She was not family, after all. But she was his friend, and she sure as hell would be a damned good one.
Now, Bass just had to get his furry white butt out here so she could try to trip him into the lake.
