A hunting we will go!

As the wolves of Myriad trickled into the gathering, the queen dipped her head to each and every one of them, taking note of the attendances. Xephyris, Hera, and her sister, Nixie. No Rivaxorus or her brother, Ren. Hmm. That was odd. There were five of them, including herself and Jackson, and she supposed that was an adequate number of hunters to bring down prey. She had only hunted on her own and with Riv, so she was curious to find out how it could be done with more wolves. Surely it had to be easier, having the roles distributed across them.
"A hunt, Nix," she replied to her sister's inquiry before the Adravendi male commenced the hunt, a small smile dancing on her lips. He explained the importance of them working as a team to feed the pack. He had also been monitoring a herd just on the outskirts of Myriad's borders, where he had found a large yet injured doe to hunt down. Perhaps they would be able to hunt another deer if luck was on their side. Scarlet eyes sparkled. Well what were they waiting for? Rising to her paws, the green alphess trotted ahead of the crowd to catch up to Jackson, who would lead them to the hunting grounds. "Have you decided on the roles for this hunt, or are we going to figure it out when we get there?" she asked with a tilt of her skull.
