Leo couldn't say that he was entirely surprised by his nephew's news. He knew Riv and Zeph had been pretty close when they left Fiori and one thing was sure to lead to another if given enough time. He gave Riv a huge grin none of the less though, his tail picking up speed from how happy he was for him. "That's wonderful, Riv! I'm so happy for both of you. I'll absolutely be there and I'll be sure to bring the rest of the family with me too." He refused to let his own bitter experiences with marriage dampen his excitement over his nephew's engagement. When Riv turned the attention back toward Leo's mentioning that he had been meaning to come talk to him. Leo waved it off with a small motion of his ivory dipped paw. "Oh it's nothing of any real importance. I just like checking in with you from time to time. I miss having you around Fiori. I did decide to move our pack lands a little bit. I've kept the mangroves, but I let go of the hot springs and claimed the sunset falls. I just felt like it would be more bennificial to have somewhere with drinkable water and more wooded hunting land. But we're still neighbors all the same!" He chuckled softly, giving Riv a reassuring smile. He knew they were both prone to streaks of bad luck so it would probably be easy to jump to the conclusion that something was wrong, but not this time.
