Worlds had drifted apart, lives surgically severed from each other in an ever shifting change of tides. His voice would grasp at her soul, sharp hooks piercing her flesh and drawing her nearer; russet skin shifting effortlessly atop expanding sinew, limbs reaching so frantically for her brother?s companionship her mind had been forced void of all other consideration. The pair had always shared something more profound and bottomless than relatable to the rest of their siblings, a connection that clawed so deep within their hearts it was unretractable without causing a barrage of emotional and corporal distress. The red beast contrasted so brilliantly with the pallid expanse that enveloped him, his chiselled body so easily relatable to the female?s own. Limbs ceased a few metres from him, spirits quivering with anticipation, an eerie vocal drawl casting a bitter-sweet salutation to the still air that sheathed the pair; encouraging him towards her, to be with her, to absorb her.
