A merry pair are we

As he heard his master shifting around in the dark, the cream-colored hair at the back of his neck began to rise in anticipation. In what strange way would she choose to torment him today? Ehrgeiz heard her slinking toward him, and he knew all he could do was wait for her to decide his fate. When the sweet, teasing voice of Sabine reached his ears, confusion began to swirl in his mind. His ears flicked with some disgust and reluctance as well. He'd never seen her like this. Was that tone really what he thought it was? It couldn't be... she wouldn't. He was her pet, to do with him whatever she wanted. But, she didn't want him. He must have been mistaken. "What do you mean?" he muttered, seeing her large outline in the darkness, "You already have me. I belong to you, remember?"

As he fell silent, his single blue eye squinted at her. Why was she acting so weird? Though, he'd have to admit to himself it might actually be his lucky day if she choose to use him in that way today. As his thoughts began to drift, he found a slight grin creeping upon his maw. If he resisted her, would she throw him onto the ground and force him to do whatever she wanted? He might have still thought she was a big ol' amazon, but she was still a woman, after all. He tried to take a deep breath and stop his thoughts from racing though; certainly he wasn't going to get that lucky? He must have been fooling himself.
