Creed awoke with a start when he heard faint shuffling of paw pads exiting the den. He was still getting used to sleeping in the main den where Surreal and her family stayed. When he'd first joined Celestial he'd chosen his own closer to the lake, but ever since his promotion he'd thought more and more about moving in with the rest of them and he finally had caved. It was different getting used to the many sounds of slumbering wolves at night, but he was already a light sleeper anyways. Typically he would have ignored the sounds but he had a feeling it wasn't any of the older wolves leaving. The steps were too tiny and light to be anyone larger than a puppy. Suspicion was definitely one of the first things that entered his brain. Puppies, from his perspective, were hardly up to no good. More worried that they'd get themselves into some sort of trouble he silently followed the trail. Late night baby sitting didn't seem so bad and besides, it meant Surreal and Falk could have a break. He'd never had any kids of his own, but it couldn't be hard. It wasn't hard to follow them. Their scents all followed each other and they left behind a pretty good trail to follow. Rather than ruin their fun though the male remained downwind of the trio and watched them silently from cover. He'd watch for a while to see what they were up to before he sent them back to bed.
