Blissful Days

One place Armai hadn't spent too much time at was the beach that bordered their other territory. She'd originally avoided the place because of the cold but now that the weather seemed to be warming up she decided to venture out farther away from her den. Nox was still asleep when she left so she was on her own today. She padded slowly away from her cave letting her paws do the work as she picked her way towards the beach. It was easy to pick out the salty scent of the brackish water and she briefly wondered if there'd be anything tasty to dig up. She wasn't much of a hunter but she was sure it didn't take too much skill to dig up a crab or find some clams or oysters. Other than the crabs they didn't fight back.

Her plans changed significantly when she scented another wolf already there. To her surprise it was the scent that belonged to a wolf she'd smelled briefly a few times in the territory. It must have been the new member that had recently joined. She followed the scent for a little bit before she paused. She was fairly certain she was close but the scent of the ocean was confusing her nose more than anything.

"Hello?" She'd call out curiously. She couldn't see the other woman, but she was pretty sure she was close by.
