He could feel Akemi tremble in his embrace, making him angrier with himself for ever being mad at her. He would never let her now just how mad he was at himself for thinking he had driven her way. Her words would draw him back out of his own mind, back to her. A small smile would crawl across his face as she asked if they could stay here awhile incase Zisa and Einarr came back. His entire reason for still being here was that he was holding on to hope of his family returning to him here. A small hope that had all but gone out, leaving him an undernourished old man. He would completely ignore her apology and go right into answering her question. She had no reason to apologize to him, and he would stand by his word. "No Akemi, I don't mind. That is my entire reason for still being here. If it weren't for the hope of you and our children returning here to look for me I would have left when the pack broke apart." his voice had come softly but honestly.
