As Creed spoke, Regulus listened, then smiled easily. “That was actually what I was looking for you to tell you. I have a replacement already in mind. Faite. She’s the only wolf in the pack that remotely fits the mold of a secondary.” He grinned, thickly furred, fluffy tail sweeping the ground behind him as he spoke. “She’s smart, level headed, and has no interest in leaving the pack. And even if she hasn’t been successful, she’s at least tried to bring new members to the pack.”

He paused to listen as Creed added that he also wanted to speak to him about another topic. Curiosity piqued, Regulus smiled, head cocking to the side, “I can certainly hear you out; I’ve plenty of time.” What was it, he had to wonder. Was there some concern the older male had about one of the members? It wouldn’t surprise him; there were several not pulling their weight, and that included Creed’s own brother. Nevertheless, he waited patiently for Creed to lead the conversation.
