Though he seemed rather grateful, she knew it must be a bit overwhelming for the young man to have two older women fussing over him. He seemed glad for the help, and thankful, but a bit taken aback at the same time. The wound was not going to kill him, or even maim him permanently - it might leave a scar, but in a few days he would likely hardly notice anything wrong at all.
Her head tilted as he spoke. "Nice to meet you, Sileas," Ara would respond gently - she tended to speak softly and carefully, so it took little effort to enunciate just slightly more so he could understand her more easily. He explained he was a healer also, and she nodded in understand. "Forgive my eagerness," Ara explained lightly, flashing a glance at Bright Moon for a moment. "Healing is my passion. I can't help but offer assistance when it seems needed."
She wondered if Bright Moon felt the same way - she figured she must. The other woman seemed as willing to help as she was, and she offered here a small smile in response. "I'm Ara," she offered softly, both to Bright Moon and Sileas both. Her smile was genuine, but faded quickly as she leaned in to examine the wound more thoroughly. "He should move a bit away from the water and find somewhere dry to sit," she started matter-of-factly, though she was not being assertive whatsoever. If he denied her help, she would leave without being asked twice, but her voice was quite certain. "Are you familiar with yarrow?" Ara would ask, glancing toward Bright Moon. "We should be able to find somewhere nearby. It usually grows in flat fields. We can use it to bandage the wound." She waited, ready to explain what it looked like if her packmate was unsure.
