If you decide to go on absence by then, please make a post beforehand! If your character has nothing to say, a post is still required before being dismissed! Posting order not required! Also, please indicate whether or not your character(s) are interested in participating in a raid so that I can plan on making a separate meeting for those interested.

She didn't have to wait very long before they began to trickle in. Lykos was first, as was expected of him. She knew she'd been lacking in training him, which now that things had calmed to a degree, she should get started on his training. Her only concern was his devotion to the pack. Was he truly devoted here? Was it worth keeping him as the Heir? These questions often crossed her mind, but he hadn't come to tell her that he didn't want to be the heir. All she could do was observe for now. After all, he had chosen to accept the position, she had given him the offer and if he didn't want to do it then she wouldn't be upset. She would nod to him in a return greeting, her features remaining stern and serious which was unusual for her. Normally, she had some sort of a warm and welcoming smile of some sort, but not today. Esarosa came next, and to her she offered a small smile before returning to her previous state. The black woman was a pleasure to be around, and Avalon was also pleased that she had taken it upon herself to call the pack for a hunt, especially considering the fact that she was a newer member. She had watched and gauged the woman's abilities during the hunt, and rather liked what she had seen.

Enlil, Dragon, and Okami arrived then. And her gaze fixed on Dragon as he raised a question that made her fur prickle. "Soon. That will be discussed." Yes, she knew they were behind in being properly trained, but were they also not going out to try on their own? She would make that a key point in today's meeting among other things she wanted to discuss. Another of Esarosa's friends would show, followed by Liar and his Brood. She'd not forgotten some of the things concerning her members, particularly the disappearance of Abelinda and one of her children, as well as the young boy that had joined with Esa. She'd learn her lesson then, not everyone's word could be trusted. Then again...Abelinda was an armada. Could they ever truly be trusted? The rest would fall in, her head dipping slightly to Amachi and Vereux, Steel, and Galahad. She'd noticed that many had been scarce, and when Kharnage showed up, she was rather surprised to see him considering his scent seemed to be pretty scarce. She knew her children had some issues, but she wasn't sure how to fix them when they never seemed to come to her to voice it. It irked her, and when she started to think about it, it made her tail lash. She'd put an end to it all soon, she was tired of being walked all over, even by her own family.

All but the missing had arrived, and Gryphon had been excused since he'd come down with a cold. She'd rather he stay in his den then get the rest of them sick. Amber gaze looked over the gathered, silence falling around them as she assessed each and every one of them. She wanted them to simmer in their thoughts for a moment, no doubt they knew at least one reason why they were called today. Her usual friendly demeanor was absent today, because today was a no bullshit business day. She refused to let the pack dwindle into a ghost town like so many others. Not under her watch. A flash of movement above caught her attention as Tanaraq silently landed on a branch above her, the raptors dark eyes staring intensely at the crowd. Her own gaze returned to them as well, it was time.

"Thank you to those who decided to show up. I wish I could say this was a more...jovial meeting, but I'm sure most of you know already what it might concern. I also want everyone to voice their concerns, assuming it involves the pack as a whole. Otherwise, speak with me privately after. Let me know before the meeting is over, but I'd prefer everything be addressed today." How could they not know what it was about when half of them contributed to the problem? She also hoped they'd take this seriously, because she certainly was. And if it wasn't clear already, she wasn't being Mr. Nice guy right now. Clearing her throat, she made her fur lie flat, though her posture radiated authority and her voice demanded attention. "First, I would like to address a few missing parties..." Her gaze briefly found Vereux first, and then Liar. Abelinda was both Vereux' relative, and Liar's mate after all. "It seems we have our first deserter. Abelinda Armada has disappeared without a word, and with her disappearance, a child has gone missing as well. While it may be of her blood, the pup belongs to the pack. Anyone who has information on her whereabouts, or if you come across her...bring her here by any means necessary. The child as well, but I'm sure I don't have to tell you not to harm it." She watched them, Liar in particular. If he had known she was missing, why hadn't he gone to look for her? Unless of course, he used the older woman as nothing more then a tool to produce offspring...and it was then with that thought, her fur began to rise slightly. If her speculation proved to be true, there would be consequences for such actions. They didn't have the room for offspring that were produced for nothing more then selfish greed. The pack didn't have that luxury with the little room they had. "Itri is missing as well, he's kept to himself so the best description I can give is that he's a black young male with gold markings. Let me, or Esarosa know if you see him. He is not accustomed to pack life." She would point her muzzle towards the ebony woman so that those who didn't know her, could put a name to a face.

Now that that was out of the way, it was time for more important matters. "I know alot of you have concern over our lack of training, and I will say this now. Training may be called by our healers, hunters, and fighters, and is in fact encouraged. Novices are required to attend, and that includes the heir." She looked towards Lykos for a moment, "Your rank also serves as an in-training rank. You will train with me, and when I am not training you, then you will train with the other novices when called to do so." She then looked at each child, from her eldest down to the youngest pup. "Pups are also required to begin training, so I expect everyone to pass on what they know to help them succeed." Now, for the somewhat formal part that she'd taken alot of time to think on. "Now, it is also time to assign mentors to our novices. Galahad, you will take Kharnage. Amachi, you will take Dragon. I will take Lykos. And for Gryphon..." Her gaze moved over Esarosa, a small smile finding it's way on her maw. "Esarosa. You're a skilled hunter, I'd like you to teach him what you can. And, you are also being promoted to Ranger. Congratulations." She stopped for a minute to allow most, if not everything she said, to sink in. If the pack still refused to get it in gear, then she'd have no choice but to start issuing restrictions and punishment. "All those in Tier five are also encouraged to attend training, and prove your worth. I'd like to see the higher ranks filling up, so get on it. Failure to attend training will result in consequences, and that goes for everyone."

She had to stop for bit. She'd said alot so far, and she wanted to give them time to absorb it all, and think on any questions they might have, especially since it was alot of information to process. And yet, she still wasn't done. There were still a few things she wanted to get off her chest, and get out there. One of those, concerned the pups. "I am sure some of you have noticed we've got quite the number of pups roaming around. Some of you have met, while others have not. So, a quick introduction I think." She moved closer to the edge of her perch, muzzle pointing down towards her little snow angel first. "I'd like to introduce Okami, Enlil, Chimera, and Charm." She pointed to each one in turn, moving on then to Liar's pups. "We also have Ash, Greed, Vadim, and Ramsay." That was almost all of them...Save for the one missing. "With that, I'd also like to state a rule that has been broken already." She looked pointedly at the pups, liar's in particular since she'd caught his leaving pack lands. "Pups are not to leave pack lands without an adult, period. You are not yet old enough to defend yourselves, so next time you are caught trying to sneak out, you'll be confined to your dens. And I'm sure you don't want that."

She sat down now. Catching her breath and taking a moment to think about what she wanted to say next. She had more or less addressed the issue on activity with the training topic, and she was sure they got the message. Then she remembered something Valentine had mentioned, and thought it best to continue with that. "There is another thing I'd like to touch on. And that is the assessment of your skills. I want to gauge the abilities of each of you to help me determine what you are best suited for, as well as determine what your place will be and if you need to improve. Ivalice is a home for those who want it. And unfortunately, the lack of space means I need to be more strict on who lives here. I've thought on an option, but I don't think we are close to ready. However, there may be an opportunity arising if you truly wish to prove your worth." Raids. That would be a good way to give them a potential idea of the bigger picture, right? Not only that, but they could test their ability and unleash all the pent up emotions or whatever they had upon someone that did not live among them. "I will come back to that."

Clearing her throat again, she took a deep breath as she decided to explain the changes to the rules. (Some rules have been changed and added, please look them over on the pack page). She wasn't sure if she was satisfied with them, and was sure that she'd end up changing and adding some things later as issues and ideas came her way. For that, she also wanted to speak to a select few. "Lykos, Kharnage, and Dragon, I'd like to speak to the three of you afterwards." She wanted their input. It was their right as much as her own, and wanted to hear their thoughts and ideas to help build as perfect a home as they could. "Now, returning to what I mentioned previously. I've been considering a raid, not only to attempt in retrieving anything we might need, but also as a way to better gauge your abilities during a real fight. It will be a pack vote, and if there is interest, then another meeting will be called to further discuss it." She figured she was done at this point, and couldn't think of anything else. Most of what she wanted to tell them was said, and she was sure they got the message in it all. If not, she was open to clarifying anything they needed. "I am sure some of you have questions, concerns. If you do, speak now. Otherwise, seek me out afterwards for a private meeting."
