Onwards and Upwards [Challenge]

The call had been a complete surprise to the young male and it quickly drew his interest away from his current activities. It had been a summoning challenge call to his brother and Jackson would be there to support his family. He ran, quickly closing the distance to the gathering on the battlefield. When he arrived he lingered outside of the gathering, his ears picking up the words and his eyes looking over everyone who approached. The mix of emotions from the last pack gathering came back and this time they did not set well at all. His bi colored eyes focused on the form of Ren as he spoke to the lady, he knew her, and it seemed he supported her. Everything lately seemed to be revolving around this male and Jackson didn't understand why this male had such ill feelings towards his brother. He gave Ren a home, a purpose, the ability to be with his family, and all he asked of Ren was to work in the pack like the rest of the members. Why had Ren been so stubborn, why did he not want to be apart of the pack.
These thoughts plus the comments from the mess of strangers approaching made the male sour. It made him angry and miserable. He stalked forward to the only person he felt he could trust, Armai. He sat down beside her, with his head lowered as he watched everyone. There was little support for his brother and it angered him. Riv had provided the territory, the home, the purpose to these pack members and they so easily turned against him. It seemed the only support his brother was getting was from Armai and Xeph. The new member of the pack that was here he had never met before and didn't know where her alliances lay. Nixie's words, then Armai's and Jackson looked to the blind healer beside him and sighed. As she spoke to Xeph Jackson would nod in agreement.
"I agree, it never should have gotten this far," he replied lowly.
His eyes then looked to their queen and he felt as though she didn't even support his brother anymore. Ren was her family and Jackson could understand that, but so was Riv and now she seemed to distance herself and he could see the bitterness on her face. His eyes turned back to the fight and looked to his brother, he stood and raised his head.
"Show them all brother," his voice deep and rumbled, showing his support to his brother.
