Lark was really confused, but in his frazzled state he couldn't stop to think about much. He wanted more, in a desperate, panicked sort of way. He found his breathing growing a bit more rapid, though it steadied as she spoke. Slowly he lifted his head off the ground, facing her with a steady hazel stare.
Her whisper did something to him he couldn't have expected before, and he felt his breath hitch in his throat. "Of course I do," Lark answered, perhaps a bit too quickly - though his voice did not lack the uncertainty he felt. Uncertainty, mingled with excitement too that couldn't be denied. "Should we go to... my den?" Anywhere was fine with him, and he shrugged as he pulled himself onto his stomach. Anywhere but out in the open, was all he could think.
