Square Up [Fight Training]

Another meeting. Oh goodie. Nothing anyone could do could seem to shake him from this damnable misery he'd been feeling lately. He'd felt so much better and relaxed when he wasn't at home. Here he felt like it'd been nothing but meetings, expectations, and responsibilities he no longer wanted. He was surrounded by family he no longer recognized and they all seemed as much as strangers to him like all the pack mates he'd never actually gotten to know. Not to mention the youngest litter and then all the pups that seemed to be running around lately. He had no desire to interact with anyone and his hatred for the place seemed to be growing every day he spent here. Where he once would have been excited about fight training he only felt an unfathomable irritation for it. Regardless he rose from he spot underneath a pine tree and headed towards the meeting. The air was unreasonably warm for this far north and his thick coat wasn't appreciative of the warm weather at all. The melting snow also proved to be rather annoying as it squished underfoot, and all he could think of was that Gryphon would be happy. He hadn't been blessed with an arctic coat like the rest of them. He arrived and stayed on the outskirts of the group. Cold blue eyes would scan to see who had arrived. There was his mother, Gryphon had surprisingly made it, two kids, a woman he didn't know, the giant woman who'd first joined with them, Vereux, and the male who'd tried talking to him at the festival. A smugness crept within him as he realized he'd beaten Lykos to yet another meeting. Lykos' track record was wavering from time to time and it felt good to beat him somewhere. Maybe he'd be better at fighting than him too. It was a nice thought. If he was really lucky maybe he wouldn't show at all. Ha! He doubted it'd happen, he was the prodigal son after all, but a boy could dream. Walk, "Talk" Think |
